Offset Printing
Fast, reliable and extremely productive.
For over a half a century offset printing has been the dominant way of sharing the printed word. The lion’s share of books, magazines, fine packaging, art posters, brochures have been printed using offset print technology.
Giants of the “printing world”.
Offset presses are large complex machines that print at speeds up to 15,000 sheets per hour and require operators to have a depth of experience. Community Printers not only has quality printing presses, we also have the trained staff to produce work at a consistently high standard.
The finest quality.
Once plates are made and hung in position on a press and the press is up and running, no other technology has been able to rival it for quality, reliability or cost effectiveness. In recent years digital printing has ceded market share for runs under 1,000 copies but offset still dominates the mid to long run print market.
Our large press.
Our large offset press, manufactured by Komori®, operates daily for 10 hours, consistently producing some of the highest-quality print work on the Central Coast. Equipped with five-color capability and an in-line aqueous coater, this press not only enhances durability but also provides distinctive finishing options—including gloss, satin, matte, and soft-touch coatings—to elevate each printed piece.
Our small press.
Our small-format offset press, manufactured by Ryobi®, is ideal for producing letterhead, envelopes, business cards, and a variety of other projects where a smaller press delivers the greatest efficiency and quality.
Rigorous color control.
Through a rigorous process of calibration and testing, Community Printers maintains GRACOL® color standards which assures color consistency not only between presses and proofing devices at Community Printers but also with other print leaders around the world. The extra effort at maintaining the color calibration pays off when over and over our clients see their finished printed piece match our proofs and their expectations.
