2024 Program Guide | Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music
CABRILLO FESTIVAL OF CONTEMPORARY MUSIC 61 NEW MUSIC FOREVER ENDEAVOR THE NEW MUSIC FOREVER ENDEAVOR We invite you to join the growing list of supporters whose legacy gifts will secure the Festival long into the future. If you have already included Cabrillo Festival in your estate plans, please let us know so that we can acknowledge your intentions, even if you wish to remain anonymous. It means a lot to us and others to know you care! Recent years have taught us a lot about the fragility of life and reminded us about what is most precious. For many of us, it is the important role the arts play in making life truly worth living. This year, the impact of planned giving is being felt in powerful and visible ways. Friends like Lana Weeks, Richard Weeks, Gayle and Scott Spencer, Marion Taylor, and many others who made generous bequests to the AIR Fund and Endowment, have made the “Creative Coast” concert and our inaugural Creative Lab possible. Without these gifts, we would not have the financial fortitude and resilience to remain creatively ambitious in the midst of significant changes to arts funding currently being felt by us and so many peer organizations. These visionary supporters have made the Festival’s legacy their own, and their impact and is being felt today and for decades to come. Reaching beyond their own lifespan, these irrepressible souls push to expand musical frontiers right here in our community; you, too, can join this endeavor. If you are considering creating or changing your estate plans, there are many ways to include charitable giving, and the Festival can offer the expertise and resources to explore all your possibilities. Whether you’ve created a comprehensive estate plan or not, you can easily take action now by naming the Cabrillo Festival as a beneficiary of an IRA account or life insurance policy. Often this can be accomplished online! We recognize that designating the Cabrillo Festival in your estate plans is a powerful statement of support, and we thank all our legacy donors for their trust and confidence in the Festival and in the importance of our work. For information, please contact Riley Nicholson, Executive Director at 831.426.6966 or riley@cabrillomusic.org . Estate attorney and former Cabrillo Festival Board President Dina Hoffman is also available for planned giving advice and questions. With deep appreciation, we invite you to add your name to this list of legacies! REALIZED BEQUESTS Lana Weeks Estate
