Once plates are made and hung in position on a press and the press is up and running, no other technology has been able to rival it for quality, reliability or cost effectiveness. In recent years digital printing has ceded market share for runs under 1,000 copies but offset still dominates the mid to long run print market.
Offset presses are large complex machines that require operators with a depth of experience to print quality work. Community Printers not only has quality printing presses, we also have the trained staff to produce work to a consistently high standard.
Our large format presses are manufactured by Komori. These presses print every day, 16 hours a day turning out some of the best quality work produced on the central coast. Our five color press has an in-line aqueous coater that adds an extra level of durability as well as unique gloss, satin and matte finishes to our print jobs.
Our small format offset presses are made by Ryobi. We use them for letterhead, envelopes, business cards and a wide range of products where printing on a smaller format press makes the most sense.
Through a rigorous process of calibration and testing, Community Printers maintains GRACOL color standards which assures color consistency not only between presses and proofing devices at Community Printers but also with other print leaders around the world. The extra effort at maintaining the color calibration pays off when over and over our clients see their finished printed piece match our proofs and their expectations.
