It's a concept that is in deep conflict with our long held belief that using paper destroys trees. As children we were taught to conserve paper and always recycle so we can save the trees and it has become so ingrained into our consciousness that as adults you often hear co-workers say things like "how many trees are you gonna kill printing out that report".
